You know, I think what you call more detail on this one is really just a different texture, which is why I still think the chopper is great as is. The two are just made of different stuff. The only qualm thing is that this bubbly stuff you're doing now looks like a skinned muscleman when at the same time this guy has small, feminine, sloped shoulders and big hips. Being pebbly fits when you're a golem I suppose. Both of their heads are, as always, fantastic.

You think it's not detailed enough, and I think it's fine. It's just a bit too dark, overall drawing is good, though I still think the torso is odd, blah blah blah.

I think I liked it slightly better. It is overall good, probably one of my favorites of yours along with the nun. I am laughing imagining what Bill Murray would have done with The Shining.

when i was adding the red to the back, i think i forgot how lucid the ink was and it spread too quick to control... i had the same idea as you though

Basically good.

This, plus the "drifting fantasy" are the best things you've done. Keep honing em on down, maybe pay more attention to the lines in the face around the eyebrows and cheeks.
